Yesterday I visited Glenfiddich Distillery to receive a donation of £500 from the staff at William Grant & Sons. We are very grateful that they have chosen to support Dufftown and District Community Association at this time. The generous donation will be used to launch an additional service as part of our Community Food Larder Project which, falls under one of our six pillars to Improve Prosperity in the Dufftown and District Area. This additional support will be for families with young children who require access to baby essentials such as nappies, wipes and formula. We will be working with the Local Health Visitor to distribute the goods however, families will also be able to come to us directly.
