As a registered charity, the DDCA operates in line with its constitution, with a focus on our charitable purposes and community initiatives. We aim to share our work and impact in Dufftown and District with the members, community, and visitors to the Moray and Speyside area.
Progress led by our Passion, we aim to develop a fair and modern town where people enjoy living and individuals have the opportunity to thrive.
Charitable Purpose 1:
To relieve the poverty of the local population of Dufftown and District by promoting and/or providing training or skills of all kinds to increase the prospect of employment and employment advancement.
Charitable Purpose 2:
To advance the education of the local population of Dufftown and District by promoting and/or providing training and skills of all kinds. To share good practice and disseminate information.
Charitable Purpose 3:
To provide, fundraise, manage or assist in the provision of facilities and/or activities in the interest of social welfare for recreation/leisure with the object of improving the conditions of life, including representing them on forums, and as a consultation body for service delivery, and to input into consultations or development proposals which have impact on Dufftown and District.
