The Dufftown Glassworks
To save the Clocktower from being mothballed by Moray Council, the Dufftown and District Community Association (DDCA) took ownership of the building in 2020. DDCA is currently maintaining the running of the clock and carrying out smaller emergency repairs.
The Clocktower is in poor condition, prohibiting it from being used by the public. To secure funding for its restoration, DDCA is working with consultants to find the best use of the building for the community.
DDCA is inviting members from the public, businesses and community groups to come along on August 31st 2022 to engage with the consultants and have your say.
The Clocktower is an iconic building to Dufftown and restoring the building is a priority for DDCA. It is a big project and we need your help. You can support us by becoming a member, volunteer with us and/or become a Trustee for the charity. Please come to the meeting and get involved.
