Whisky distilleries in and around Dufftown
Dufftown has more working distilleries than almost anywhere in Scotland. Glenfiddich and The Balvenie sit on the edge of town, and Mortlach, Glendullan and Dufftown distilleries are close by. Several offer tours and tastings, and it’s best to book ahead in summer and during the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. Dufftown is also on the Malt Whisky Trail.
Cycling and e-bike hire in Dufftown

Walks around Dufftown
You can walk straight out of town along the Dullan Water to the Giant’s Chair, or follow the Isla Way towards Keith. The Speyside Way long-distance route has a spur into Dufftown, which makes the town an easy overnight stop.
