Explore Dufftown and Speyside by e-bike. The Dufftown & District Community Association (DDCA) runs a community bike hire scheme from Dufftown, with electric bikes, electric mountain bikes (eMTBs), e-trikes and kids’ bikes available by the day, week or month. Any money we make goes back into community projects in Dufftown.
E-bike hire prices
- E-bikes and eMTBs: from £25 per day
- Weekly and monthly hire: available. Choose the length of hire when you book.
- Kids’ trail tag-along: from £10
Every hire includes a helmet and a lock. Hires of more than one day also come with a battery charger that works from a normal UK socket.
Our bikes
- Haibike eMTBs (Trekking and Hardseven): ideal for forest tracks and Speyside trails
- Motus e-bikes (Tour, Centro and low-step): comfortable hybrids for roads and cycle paths
- Jorvik e-trikes: stable three-wheelers for riders who prefer not to balance
- Kids’ bikes, trailers and tag-alongs for family rides
Collection and return
Bikes are hired by the day. You can collect from 8.30am and return by 5pm. Please book online in advance, or email hello@dufftowncommunity.co.uk. All riders must agree to the DDCA bike hire agreement.
Where to ride from Dufftown
